Festive Delights this Fall Season 2018 at La Pulperia Restaurants


The Fall 2018 season is in full swing with festive experiences to celebrate at La Pulperia Restaurants. Co-owners Victor Medina and Head Chef Carlos Barroz are in the seasonal spirit decking out both the Upper East Side and Hell’s Kitchen locations to theme for Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) plus Halloween and Thanksgiving. The rustic Latin American and seafood menu boasts festive fare and seasonal specials that New Yorkers will enjoy for Fall’s biggest celebrations.

La Pulperia Restaurants celebrates with the traditional Mexican fiesta of Dia de los Muertos, the Mexican equivalent to Halloween, on Wednesday, October 31st, 2018. The Upper East Side locationwill be decorated to theme with a colorful ofrenda (offering alter) for festive photo opportunities. A live DJ will mix and master a playlist of Latin American music for the thrilling Day of the DeadCelebration.

Leading up to the haunted holiday La Pulperia’s Upper East Side and Hell’s Kitchen locations will feature spooky specials on the menu and cocktail program. Enjoy your seasonal serving of pumpkin with an appetizer of Roasted Pumpkin Empanadas served with Butternut squash, huitlacoche mushrooms, manchego cheese and shaved black truffles. The Butternut Squash Pappardelle is a handmade pasta entrée with brown butter, cherry tomato confit, capers, sage and parmesan. Treat yourself to the Pumpkin Tres Leches Cake with Berries on the dessert menu. A spirited bar team puts the “BOO!” in booze with “cocktails served on eyes” including the Zoombie blending Pisco 100 with Chambord raspberry, lime juice over smoky ice.

Festive experiences your entire family can enjoy will be hosted at La Pulperia Restaurants this Fall Season and throughout the Thanksgiving Holiday. Head Chef Carlos Barroz spices things up with a Latin twist on classic Thanksgiving dishes. For starters, diners can enjoy the Crab and Sweet Potato Croquettes made with lump Maryland crab meat with Oaxaca cheese and red beet aioli. The Lemon-Lime Roasted Turkey Breast is served with creamy Brussel sprouts, poblano rajas gratin and topped with lemon-lime gravy. Indulge in Apple Pie with Dulce de Leche Ice Cream which is worth loosening your belt a few notches.

Fall Season at La Pulperia Restaurants is even more festive with live entertainment and specials daily. The Upper East Side location hosts live Brazilian Jazz every Monday night at 7:00 p.m. Unwind at the beginning of the week with Happy Hour specials available all-day Monday, as well as Tuesday through Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Sundays from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. In addition, Hell’s Kitchen Happy hour is Sunday through Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

NYC’s #1 Drag Brunch features showstopping queen Ritzy Bitz both Saturday on the Upper East Sideplus every Sunday in Hell’s Kitchen and including $30 unlimited cocktails. Ladies Night is every Tuesday at both locations from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. where women receive their first drink, free of charge.
